Funded by Vestre-Norway since 2018, the project aims at building the capacities of teachers and mentors through the integration of design thinking concept in vocational training and education, to increase youth/student’s skills development in innovation that have creative ideas and willing to open their own business. The project targets trainers in VTCs and NGOs, VTC students, and community members. 

Main Objectives

• Develop innovative high quality and sustainable design thinking concept training module/course, that offer practical space solution and design.
• Increase youth in self-employment by cultivating entrepreneurial skills and facilitating start-ups.

Key Results 

• Integration of design thinking in the VTCs educational curriculum.  
• 11 certified design thinking trainers from multiple VTCs ad institutes in Jerusalem, Ramallah, Jericho and Hebron, who are able to conduct design thinking trainings in their communities.
• Educational design thinking manual for Mentors.
• Community-needed design thinking products
