JAI works to engage a large number of people in programs and advocacy work to create and develop country-based networks, to be a resource advocacy program on Palestine, to empower and engage Palestinian youth to participate in the JAI activities and to work for peace and justice.

Established in 2003, JAI works to engage a large number of people in programs and advocacy work to create and develop country-based networks, to be a resource advocacy program on Palestine, to empower and engage Palestinian youth to participate in the JAI activities and to work for peace and justice. The JAI contributes to creating a responsive engagement of YMCAs and YWCAs, Ecumenical bodies as well as individuals and youth for promoting a just peace in Palestine.” 

JAI Main activities:

  • Organize Programs & Visits in Palestine for internationals: Introduces the delegations and group to the political, social and economic situation in Palestine, and have a first-hand experience of life under the occupation. 
  • Youth Programs & Exchanges: where Palestinian youth and teenagers are equipped through training sessions with information and advocacy tools that facilitates their participation in international youth exchange programs and youth gatherings. 
  • National Networking and Coalition: The JAI is a member of Kairos Palestine and Global Kairos for Justice Coalition, the National Coalition of Christian Organizations in Palestine (NCCOP), and other local coalitions, to unify the Palestinian advocacy message to the local and international community.
  • National and international Campaign: promoting the JAI' Keep Hope Alive - Olive Tree Campaign.
