The East Jerusalem YMCA Rehabilitation Program is pleased to announce the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Representative Office of Finland to the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah on September 30th, 2015 at the East Jerusalem YMCA premise in Beit Sahour.

The Rehabilitation Program issues its first Update Bulletin covering the period from January 1^st to June 30^th

The East Jerusalem YMCA – Rehabilitation Program in partnership with HAP UK & Ireland, has recently implemented the first level of the basic training in 'Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing' (EMDR) during the period of 12-15 /5/2015 in Istanbul / Turkey. The training was attended by 28 participants from various Arab nationalities from Syria, Jordan, Sudan, Egypt, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and Palestine who have professional backgrounds in the field of psychological and mental health and who devote high efforts to serve the refugees and the victims of political violence in their countries.

As part of the Psychosocial Emergency Teams Project implemented by the East Jerusalem YMCA - Rehabilitation Program, an advocacy campaign and festival were implemented in corporation with the Islamic Orphans' School, to advocate for and raise awareness on the rights of Palestinian children as part of the Palestinian Child Day celebrations.
